Yesterday we had a new Lenox furnace Installed. It took them about 4 hours. The furnace that was replaced was a Trane system. The AC portion of was not replaced and is still in good shape. The Heater failed because for the second time the humidifier leaked and destroyed the controller board. The tech also inspected the heat exchanger and said it was cracked. Curious that 6 months ago when the same Company (Harris …) did not catch this when the did our $39 inspection.
The Humidifier was removed and not replaced which was Jane’s insistence . After thinking about it she was right.
