On January 16, 2024 I hurt myself shoveling snow. By the end of the week I felt like I should see the Dr. Something was moving around in my chest. I wasn’t able to get an appointment till 1/26. I saw a PA – Olivia who examined me and said she thought I had a hernia. She ordered an ultrasound which I was not able to get at anywhere convenient until 2/1. Around this time I developed a pain that I thought was sciatica in my right leg. The results of the scan were negative. After several messages with both Olivia and my GP it was suggested I get another appointment for an office visit. Today is 2/5. My appointment is scheduled for 2/9. I still have the pain and also my back which is chronic started hurting.
in all fairness I thought the initial problem was lower around my stomach and this was probably misleading. It does not seem right that I should have to live in pain for 2 weeks. I did not want to go to the ER.
